Much Ado About Nothing At All

By now you've already heard about the photo spread of Miley Cyrus and her dad in the most current issue of 'Vanity Fair' magazine. It is not every celebrity that gets photographed by the very famous Annie Lebovitz for this very trendy magazine. It would stand to reason that one couldn't possibly turn down such an offer. The fact that Miley is photographed with what appears to be a less than a squeaky clean image is of no consequence to the famous photographer. Afterall, she was the one that actually asked the queen of England to remove her crown for a photo because she thought it would be more interesting if she were photographed holding the crown rather than wearing the crown. Nonetheless, to ask a child to be photographed wrapped in nothing but a blanket is not necessarily the most strategic thing for a still budding career. Truth be told, she is wearing far more than the actress who plays the lead role in 'The Little Mermaid' on Broadway, which is a Disney production, but still Miley is no grown-up...yet. I don't find it shocking and think that the more it's dissected by the venemous press, the more magazines will sell and the more she begins to resemble another young pop star who is trying to still get her life back on track after she was literally stalked by the press. If the media needs to talk about underage girls, then perhaps more attention needs to be paid to those young ladies rescued from the hands of poligamy as it appears most were found to be pregnant or to have already given birth. Now that's a real tragedy!
