Look Out For Those Shipping Costs
Yesterday, I was sitting with my daughter watching TV (our other favorite pasttime, other than shopping). We saw one of those infomercials for the Body Flex package. After watching the whole thing, I saw that the whole package was on sale at www.bodyflex.com for only $29.99. I actually thought this was a very good deal since I own the original configuration from years ago. I went online to order it and was astounded by the shipping and handling costs. They were a whopping $14.00 or more. I couldn't even imagine how they could possibly justify this and never finished processing my order. Instead, I headed on over to hsn.com and found the same product (more or less) for the same amount of money, but with shipping and handling costs under $6.00. So, in the future, when you get pulled in by those infomercials, make sure you check the shipping and handling costs. If they seem kind of high to you, it's probably because they are. Google the product you want and see if you can't find a better deal elsewhere, at least on the shipping. You may end up saving yourself a bundle of money in the long run.

"Caveat Emptor" -- let the buyer beware. :-)
Always read the fine print.
This is SO true. I die every time I watch infomercials and see how much their S&H (or processing and handling) costs are. Still, I wouldn't give up my home workouts without weights exercise program for anything; it was worth the cost. I couldn't find it for cheaper anywhere else. Thanks for reminding me about HSN, though, that could really help me out in the future!
