Raising Awareness The Hard Way
Suzanne Somers has written many books over the years and most have been on the New York Times Best Sellers List, however, this last book called "Ageless" has raised more than money and fame for her. Her critics (mostly physicians) Have come out with guns ablaze as they attack her for touting bio-identical hormones. Suzanne and her good friend, T.S. Wiley, appeared on The Larry King Show last night to go nose to nose with some of her critics about how her last book has, as one critic said "gone over the line" in telling women that bio-identical hormones will not only solve your menopause problems, but keep you from aging badly and may prevent and/or cure cancer. The controversy continues as more doctors and the AMA come forward to beg for research regarding bio-identical hormones in order to truly identify the benefits and risks of taking and staying on bio-identical hormones for any length of time. If nothing else, the controversial book will force the issue and women can finally be better informed about the choices they make.
1 Comments:
Somers casually mentions in her book that she needed a hysterectomy after writing her last book on bioidentical hormones.
California Cult figure, TS Wiley, a college drop-out housewife, put her on the current regimen she's touting. Hundreds of women have gotten sick on the Wiley Protocol.See rhythmicliving.com.
