The Doctor Makes A House Call

Dr. Phil didn't actually make a house call, but he did spend an hour with Britney Spears at Cedars-Sinai Hospital shortly before she checked herself out within 48 hours after she was brought in for observation. Dr. Phil reported that family members were present with Britney and he is quoted as saying that he does believe that she needs medical and/or psychological intervention based on the time he spent with her. He also escorted her to her car through an underground tunnel so as to avoid the waiting press and photographers always yipping at her feet. Beyond the fact that she clearly needs some kind of help, she must be truly devastated over the custody setback dealt her after this last episode. I truly hope that this year Britney will make up her mind to finally get some much needed help for own sake and for the sake of her little boys, who need their mother.
