And the Oscar Goes to.....

Are you counting down the minutes to the Oscars? Will you watch all the red carpet hoopla and analyze the gowns, the make-up, the bling? Do you even care? Frankly, I watch these awards shows now with a skeptic's eye. I'm happy that independent films have been recognized over the years over big budget movies, but still it seems that it is more of a popularity contest on some levels rather than a benchmark of true talent. In any event it is the talk of many blogs right now, with predictions galore.
