Feeding America

I wanted to take the time to wish all my readers a very good and peaceful Thanksgiving. May you be sharing it with someone you love and may you have many blessings on this holiday. I also wanted to tell you that there are many people who may not be fortunate enough to have a home within which to celebrate, let alone a turkey with all the trimmings. We are living through very difficult times right now and with so many people out of work and losing their homes, food banks all over the country are in need of donations. If you are not really sure where you can donate, please check out Feeding America. Formerly known as America's Second Harvest, Feeding America is one of the largest food networks in the country. Here you can make a much needed donation or volunteer your time right in your own community where you are most needed. This is a lovely way to give thanks for all of your own blessings while making someone else's life a little more blessed as well. Have a good one!
