Jolie And Pitt, Receiving And Giving

You probably already know that Angelina Jolie gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday (Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt), but what you may not know is that she and Brad Pitt (Shiloh's biological father) also gave $300,000 to the nation of Nambia so that other babies could be born safely in this impoverished part of southern Africa. The couple has also donated $15,000 for a school and community center in a local village, Swakopmund. The couple released a statement saying that they wanted to contribute to Namibia because the government and the people of that country had been so gracious to them while waiting for the birth of their baby. I'm not huge fans of either of these mega tabloid stars, but their generous donations makes up for a lot of the obnoxious gossip.
