May Is Melanoma Month
May is Melanoma Awareness Month. This is the time of year, right before summer, when we should all be checking our skin for any changes in moles (in terms of color, asymmentry and size). If you have a mole that has undefined borders, has darkened in any way, or has grown beyond the size of a pencil eraser, make sure you have your physician check it out further. Use a sunscreen every day. You don't have to be on the beach or lying poolside to be exposed to the harmful rays of the sun. Cover any exposed areas on your face, neck, ears, arms, legs, ankles and feet. For more information on how you can protect yourself, go to http://www.purposeskincare.com/
