Fighting Dry Skin
Winter is just around the corner and with it will come the cold, dry weather outside and the dry heat inside. Dry skin is something that impacts almost everyone, although some have more problems than others. The most important thing to do is to find products that work for you. Of course, you should always continue to use a sunscreen even in the winter, especially on your face, but don't forget any other areas that will be exposed like your hands, ears and neck. If you need to use a richer moisturizer for your face in the winter, especially while you are indoors with dry heat, try using Nivea skincare products which really help fight dry skin very well for both the face and body. Aveeno is another wonderful product that has an aray of moisturizers for both face and body. Both product lines are available at all drug and discount stores and are very affordable. You can also keep a humidifier on during the day as well as at night to put moisture back in the air. Don't forget to take care of your lips by first, not licking them. Licking them will only irritate the sensitive skin on your lips even more and that's when chapness occurs. There are lots of products on the market ranging in all prices, but Chapstick (the most popular and affordable) makes many different lip products, some with natural and anti-aging components. Burt's Bee Beeswax lip balms and lipsticks are also very popular and affordable and both can be found in drug and discount stores. Whatever you use, make sure it has a sunscreen in it. Take care of hands and feet with products that contain shea butter. This will be especially beneficial for your nails which are prone to the effects of dryness. The shea butter will put back moisturizers and, if used regularly, will prevent your nails from flaking. Try Bath and Body Works for great shea butter products
