Undermining Faith

Remember Carrie Underwood? She was the American Idol winner that went on to have a huge career in country music. At the CMA ceremony, she picked up an award that apparently Faith Hill thought she wasn't entitled to receive. While Carrie graciously accepted the award for female country artist of the year, Faith was caught on camera mouthing the word, "What??" as if she was in disbelief that she didn't win. Her angry face was caught on camera and today, she and her staff are left to do damage control. Faith now claims that she was joking around and she comically made a face, but she never meant to put down Carrie in any way. Whether or not this is really true remains to be a mystery, but I think it may be little truth to her claim that she was just trying to be funny.
