Memorial Day

Usually when people think about Memorial Day, they think about backyard barbeque's with family and friends, heading to the beach or shopping for all those great sales, but Memorial Day is really about remembering our fallen heroes, our soldiers. I think with all those who died serving our country, especially recently with the war in Iraq and Afganistan, we really need to take a moment and remember these brave people. This has nothing to do with whether you believe war, especially this war, is right or wrong. Either way, these brave young men and women need to be remembered for their unselfish acts to serve our country. I'm not saying that you shouldn't enjoy your long weekend, I know I will, but just take a minute to think about all those who lost their precious lives, probably way too soon.
