Where Everything Old Is New Again
Years ago, when my kids were little, they outgrew their good clothing so fast, that often, things were only worn once. The idea of consignment shopping was extremely appealing to me and stores like Once Upon A Child became staples in my shopping routine. I was able to sell my own gently used clothing, and at the same time, got some great things for my kids, some of which were one-of-a-kind designer items that cost a fraction of what they orignally sold for. Of course, consignment shopping is nothing new. There are many kinds of consignment shops that have been around for years, selling used clothing from the rich and famous and other stores that sell bridal gowns for thrifty brides who want their dream dress at a fraction of the cost. Another great consignment store is now popping up all over the country called Plato's Closet. This great store carries brand names familiar to anyone who is either raising a teenager or is a teenager, like Abercrombie, Hollister, Juicy Couture, Coach and so much more. You can sell your clothes there too and while you're there, pick up some great items for the price of one new one somewhere else. Check out their website to find a store near you or, maybe own a franchise for yourself.
