Without Fanfare

Maybe the reason why Beyonce and JayZ took so long to finally tie the knot is that it took them almost six years to figure out a way to do it without being hounded by photographers. Furthermore, the news was posted anywhere much and we didn't hear about it for weeks on end like other celebrity couples (Tomkat for instance). The couple quietly took out a marriage license in the small community of Scarsdale, New York and made good use of it yesterday in a quiet affair surrounded only by family and close friends in New York. Perhaps at some point, the couple will share photos of the event, but kudos to them for keeping it simple, elegant and private, even though blog master, Perez Hilton, printed the address where the party reportedly took place.
