Hide Your Blog From Your Boss

I found this very interesting, but not-at-all surprising story this morning about how employees are being fired for telling all in their blogs. Apparently, major companies are cracking down on employees, by firing them, for even jokingly referring to anything work related. However, have we reached a point whereby companies will have to start having their employees sign agreements whereby they promise not to keep a work-related blog? I can understand if trade secrets are shared on the internet and certainly anything that smacks of libel would have to be dealt with, but can't a person have a place to vent every once in a while, without worrying that they will receive a pink slip for doing so? I guess with so many millions of blogs, this will be just one of many stories we will be reading in the future about how they impact the rest of our lives.http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/business/13972590.htm
