More Sadness For Paul McCartney

It was announced only this morning that former Beatle, Paul McCartney and his wife of four years, Heather Mills, will split. Paul cited the difficulties of the pressure from the media as the primary reason for the failure of their marriage, but there may be more than that beneath the sound bite. Afterall, there is a vast age difference between Heather (who is still in her 30s) and Paul, who is finally sixty-four. The couple had one child together, Beatrice and early reports indicate that they will share custody of her. Paul is worth over one billion dollars, and there was no pre-nuptial agreement.
