The High Price Of Peptides
Recently, I had the opportunity to try a product from an exclusive skincare line, Peter Thomas Roth. Peter Thomas Roth comes from a family who has specialized in upscale spas for generations. His skincare products boast around 20% of various peptides, but not without a very steep price. In fact, the anti-aging serum costs around $120 if you buy it from QVC . I have been using Oil of Olay's Regenerist line of peptide products for quite a while now. They contain a fraction of the peptides contained in Peter Thomas Roth's products, but sell for a fraction of the price with the serum costing around $18 at drug and discount stores. After comparing the two products, I can honestly say that the Regenerist line works about as well as the Peter Thomas Roth line. Of course, results may vary, as they say, but never discount lifestyle as part of the overall factor. Eat properly, get enough sleep, drink at least 8 glasses of water a day (the rule of thumb is divide your weight in half and that's the number of ounces of water you should drink) and see if this doesn't also improve the look of your skin. Most of all, quit smoking, not just for obvious reasons, but for the way it ages your skin.
