In Her Shoes

Remember Imelda Marcos and her thousands of pairs of shoes? She's probably more of a legend because of them rather than all of the trouble that she caused for her people in Manila. As a result, she will soon begin marketing her own line of accessories. "The Imelda Collection" will contain jewelry and handbags, but eventually the plan is to add shoes to the collection. Right now the items will be priced between $20 and $100, but it has yet to be announced exactly where the line will be available. The 77 year-old widow said she was encouraged by her children and grandchildren to begin this venture while she still faces some legal battles. It will be interesting to see what she has come up with and who will be buying her line.
