Get Ready For the 70s

Barry Manilow is set to release another cover album, this time covering the greatest songs of the seventies (the CD is aptly entitled 'The Greatest Songs of the 70s). Normally, I would say, pass this one up, but I've heard several cuts and 'Bridge Over Troubled Waters' is worth the price of the CD. If you are a fan, then definitely go for the deluxe version and you will also get additional songs from the seventies.....his own, only this time with a bit of a twist. His accoustic version of 'Copacabana' is very smart and sophisticated and a great way to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of Lola. You can pre-order the CD here.
