Barry Manilow is set to release another cover album, this time covering the greatest songs of the seventies (the CD is aptly entitled 'The Greatest Songs of the 70s). Normally, I would say, pass this one up, but I've heard several cuts and 'Bridge Over Troubled Waters' is worth the price of the CD. If you are a fan, then definitely go for the deluxe version and you will also get additional songs from the seventies.....his own, only this time with a bit of a twist. His accoustic version of 'Copacabana' is very smart and sophisticated and a great way to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of Lola. You can pre-order the CD
here.
