A Year To Remember
It's almost that time of year again, when we say good-bye to the old and hello to the new. New Year's Eve is often an unhappy occasion for some. It reminds them of things they've yet to accomplish and resolutions that never came to pass. I for one do not relish this night. I know many will be sitting home alone feeling sorry for themselves. I hope you are not one of them, but if you are remember that you are not alone. Also, count whatever blessings you have (we all have some things to be thankful for) and if you must make any resolutions at all, resolve to find more compassion for not only others, but for yourself as well. Learn to accept yourself for who you are, listen to your own voice (instead of your mother's) and pursue at least one passion, even if only as a hobby. Resolve to volunteer some of your time with someone who really needs you and stop worrying about having thinner thighs or finding prince charming.....neither exists. Most of all have a happy New Year (you do deserve to be happy) and take good care of yourself as much as you can, each and every day because your presence on earth does matter!
