Woman, Thy Name is Multi-Tasker
I don't often write "mom" type stuff in my blog, but I am a mom and a wife and a teacher and I have two home busiensses. Needless to say, I never actually have down time and I'm not quite sure what that is. I've been on the mommy track for the last 17 years and I can see that I won't be off it any time soon. Don't get me wrong, I love my life and have no complaints, but my life is so hectic some times, I just want to go back to bed and pull the covers over my head. Take today for instance, my husband called and said he had a last minute appointment with a potential new client. Since he was going to meet this guy at his house, he thought it would be nice to bring something for his wife and asked me if I could pick up some flowers some time today. I thought to myself, "What am I flowershop.com?" I have no time to pick up flowers, dry cleaning, McDonald's or dog food. I still haven't finished the laundry and I have to plan my curriculum tomorrow for my four nursery school classes. I also have a dinner tonight which I am obligated to attend, my daughter has religion and my son is in a school concert. I guess I'll have to add logistics specialist to my long line of hats I wear. Someone pass the wine!

I remember before my disability. It was nothing for me to put 100+ miles on the car, while my husband was at work, running errands and taking care of business. Multi-tasking is a talent. Good luck in all your endeavors. God bless.
