An American Idol Has Left The Building
I am not going to lament the loss of Elliott last night from the American Idol finale next week. Elliott has nothing to worry about regarding his impending musical career. He will, no doubt, be fielding offers very soon, if he hasn't already. My post is more about the shroud of secrecy over the results of the poll, or lack thereof. Apparently, there is a service that has pierced that shroud and the producers have only recently found out about it and are, shall we say, flipping out over it. How is it possible that they were able to find out how everyone voted before they did? Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later and although most viewers were still in the dark up until the last moment, a growing number of people can just do a google search and find the information first on the internet. Actually, it was very shrewd on the part of Zaba Search to start doing this. You can actually send e-mail to any of the contestants, the producers and the judges as well through their website. Zaba Search is on of those services where you can dig up the dirt on just about anyone in the world....for a price, of course. To now have this information also available on their website, they not only get many more hits, but possible new customers every single day. As I am reminded of, almost every day: There's no such thing as private information anymore.....not with the internet anyway.
