Wild Horses Couldn't Drag Me Away

Today we rented a Jeep and drove down to an off-road beach to see the wild horses of Corolla. We were hoping to see them run along the beach, but no such luck. We needed to drive some back roads to get a glimpse of them. Of course, after 400 years and while living in close proximity to people, they really aren't so wild and prefer grazing or resting in the backyards of some of the most magnificant beachfront homes. I suppose that once all the cars leave the beach,they are more likely to roam the beaches, but it was still great seeing them in their natural habitat. More later!
